Face Lift
More women and men than ever before are seeking the increased self-esteem that can come with looking as good as you feel. Modern facelift procedures can lift and tighten sagging in the mid- to lower part of the face, smooth the neck and jowl area, and redefine the jaw line. Contrary to the perceptions of many, facelift surgery does not need to be painful or be accompanied by undue swelling or bruising. Ask for more information about this surgical procedure.

Weekend Face Lift
It is now known that a special layer of tissue under the skin is responsible for the sliding and sagging of the skin over it, in areas such as the forehead and brows, crow’s feet, and skin around the mouth and jowl areas and neck. Using small hidden incisions, and lifting and tightening this tissue layer, Dr. Rhodes is able to rejuvenate the facial features and remove and reposition excess skin. Less surgery is required, so pain and healing time are greatly reduced. This procedure may be performed in an office operatory setting under local anesthesia with a light sedative, rather than in an operating room under deep anesthesia. Weekend Face Lift patients generally resume daily activities in a few days.

Forehead Lift, Temporal Lift, Brow Lift
We age first around the eyes. How many times has someone told you that your eyes look tired? Do you feel as though you have to raise your brows to see out from under them? Do your eyelids feel heavy? Do people tell you that you look angry? Today's brow and forehead lifting procedures lift and reposition the brows and give your face and eyes a fresher, more relaxed appearance. This surgical procedure may be performed alone or with a facelift and eyelid lift.

Eyelid Lift
Also known as blepharoplasty, this is one of the most commonly requested facial plastic surgical procedures. Both the upper and lower lids may be lifted. Upper blepharoplasty removes the heavy folded skin from the area between the brow and the free edge of the upper eyelid. It is commonly performed in combination with a brow, temporal, or forehead lift. Lower blepharosplasy removes redundant, puffy skin from the lower lids, often in combination with fat removal from beneath the skin.

Neck Lift
This procedure is used to lift and redefine the jaw line, and reduce the effects of loose cheek and neck muscles and skin. It results in a dramatic redefinition of the jaw and neckline. In addition to the skin lifting and smoothing that is performed, tightening of the paper-thin muscle under the neck skin, the platysma, helps to form a sling that is then able to support the neck and jaw. Neck lift is frequently performed in combination with a facelift, neck liposuction, or COOL LIPO laser liposuction to reduce fat pads and tighten sagging and loose neck skin.

Otoplasty
Protruding ears are a source of injury, ridicule, and reduced self-esteem for children and adults. Beginning at about age five to six, children with protruding ears may become subject to teasing and ear-pulling. If injury occurs, a thickened, painful 'cauliflower' ear may result. The otoplasty procedure is one of the most appreciated of reconstructive head and neck surgical procedures. It reduces the protrusion of the ears away from the sides of the head.

Cheek, Chin, and Nasolabial Fold Implants
Soft, pliable, and inert sterile materials placed under the folds of the cheeks and chin add definition and enhanced character to these areas. Judicious placement of a chin implant can add definition to the lower half of the face while removing emphasis from a prominent nose, forehead, or upper lip. Improved profile and facial symmetry results. Nasolabial implants smooth out the deep lines adjacent to the mouth and can potentially delay the need for a facelift. Cheek implants impart character character and definition to the mid-face.

Rhinoplasty
Many techniques are available for contouring and sculpting the bony and cartilaginous parts of the nose. The prominence of tissues and bone can be reduced, or their appearances camouflaged by placement of fat, cartilage, or other grafting materials. Rhinoplasty and septoplasty (straightening of the inside mid-portion of the nose) techniques are commonly applied to repair and reconstruct the nose after trauma, as well as the cosmetic applications of these procedures.
